From the moment you arrive at The Hidden Garden's Bed and Breakfast you will be surrounded by woods and gardens. Our contemporary Post & Beam home, partially furnished with antiques and oriental rugs, awaits your arrival. We'll get you settled in and on the way to a relaxing and peaceful visit.

In the morning the sun floods our kitchen with warmth as we prepare an ample and delicious breakfast.

We take pride in using Vermont products whenever possible.

Depending upon the number of guests and Marcia's mood :-), breakfast might be served at the kitchen island (above), in the sunroom overlooking the sunken wall garden...

...or in the formal dining room.

If you are an early riser, just stay in your nightwear and go from bed to the sunken garden, with a cup of coffee or tea in hand.

You can turn on the water fountain, feed the gold fish and enjoy watching the birds, chipmunks and squirrels at the feeders,...

...or relax in a lounge chair on our patio.

Here you can enjoy sun-up and country morning quiet.

Guests are welcome to sit and read or chat in our sunroom or living room where you'll find our Vermont and gardening books.

We also provide wireless DSL internet service for ease of using your laptop during your stay.

Be prepared for a joyous greeting by our friendly tail wagging Labrador Retrievers. They love company and hope the feeling is reciprocal!

There are many activities and attractions to which you can drive. See some suggestions at left. We have comfort bikes available for use locally if you'd like to explore the immediate vicinity.
